THE WEEK AHEAD.....

Here are some of the stories we'll be following for you online and through social media in the week to come:

MONDAY:
--#1 Deep Run boys basketball hosts #4 John Marshall in a game that can be heard LIVE on RVA Sports Network on our YouTube Channel at 7:30pm. CLICK HERE to listen.
--Top 10 girls teams in action include #2 Monacan home to James River, #3 Cosby hosting Midlothian, #4 L.C. Bird hosting Prince George, and #9 Deep Run home to John Marshall at 6pm. The Wildcats/Justices game can also be heard on RVA Sports Network.

TUESDAY:
#3 Henrico boys basketball travels to surging Hanover, while #8 Hermitage has to go to always dangerous Douglas Freeman. #5 St. Christopher's looks to get back on track hosting Christchurch at 6pm.
--Coming off a tough Sunday night loss at Pitt, Virginia Tech men's basketball continues their road trip at the Carrier Dome against Jim Boeheim and Syracuse at 8pm.

WEDNESDAY:
--It's National Signing Day! Student-athletes across the region will be putting pen to paper, signing their National Letters of Intent for college. RVA Sports Network will be at schools throughout the day, and will again join forces with NBC12 to bring you comprehensive coverage! Follow @marcdavissports and @MattNBC12 for coverage all day long, as well as our Twitter network!
--It's also a big night for college hoops as VCU looks to stay unbeaten in Philly against La Salle at 7pm, UVA hosts Boston College at 7, while George Mason comes to the Robins Center to face Richmond at 7. Surging Randolph-Macon hosts Bridgewater in ODAC play at 7, with live coverage scheduled on @hanoversports on our Twitter network.

THURSDAY:
--Conference 12 tournament seedings are at stake as Highland Springs travels to Meadowbrook. #8 Hermitage goes to #4 John Marshall for a big test in boys hoops, while #6 Dinwiddie has to survive their annual trip to Colonial Heights.
--It will be an emotional night in Chester as the L.C. Bird Skyhawks welcome in rival Thomas Dale on their Senior Night for girls and boys basketball.

FRIDAY:
--It's the first-ever "Clash Of The Counties" at SwimRVA as the club teams of Henrico and Chesterfield County schools battle it out! Over 500 swimmers are scheduled to compete. Look for real-time updates all evening on @henricosports and @cfieldsports on Twitter!
--A huge Prep League battle as #5 St. Christopher's hosts #7 Trinity Episcopal at 7:15pm. Glen Allen goes to Mills Godwin in a game crucial to Conference 11 tournament seeding, while #1 Deep Run hosts rival Douglas Freeman.

SATURDAY:
--Conference tournaments take place in gymnastics and wrestling, while Hopewell and Petersburg make up their snowed out boys basketball game from January 22nd.
--VCU returns to Siegel to battle George Washington at noon, while Richmond hosts UMass at 6pm.
