Things shake out in both 5A South Central and 4A East, Conferences 19/20 as the new Virginia High School League (VHSL) playoff power point standings are released Tuesday with five weeks left in the regular season. Teams' records and points are posted.

In 2A East, Goochland moves up to #1 at 21.6 points with a 5-0 record, surpassing Stuarts Draft for the top spot. Amelia is in 14th (3-2, 15.4), King William in 17th (2-3, 13.2), just .05 points behind the 16th place team, George Mason. The top 16 teams make the playoffs.

In 1A East, Essex is in 11th place (1-4, 14.8 points).
