Final RVA Sports Network Top 10 Basketball Polls

The regular season is complete, the playoffs are underway, so it is time to release our final RVA Sports Network Top 10 Boys and Girls High School Basketball Polls. Some notes:

--Our #1 teams, the Monacan girls and L.C. Bird boys, went wire-to-wire from the preseason poll over Thanksgiving weekend, to today's final poll.

--Our #2 girls team, Highland Springs, also went wire-to-wire, with their third straight unbeaten regular season.

--Six boys teams and eight girls teams listed in our preseason polls are ranked in the final survey, with the biggest risers from the group during the season being the Hermitage boys and J.R. Tucker girls, the Tigers also going unbeaten for the first time in program history.

--One team, the Manchester boys, make their season debut in the Top 10 in the final poll.
